Integra Coal’s Singleton mine site train loadout facility was upgraded from a volumetric loading system to a mass based train loading system. Integra Coal now load trains within +/-0.25% of target and 90% of wagons have less than one tonne variation. The system was fully commissioned in February 2010. The Meridian TLI system now allows for mass based train loading without the need for a weigh-hopper under the surge bin.
